Ms. Ramatoulaye Ndao Diouf

Special Advisor, Coordinator of the Child Protection Support Unit, Republic of Senegal

Ms. Ramatoulaye Ndao Diouf graduated from the Institute of Communication and Media at Stendhal University in Grenoble (France). After her master's degree in communication and her diploma in multimedia engineering, her professional practice led her to the Presidency of the Republic of Senegal where she joined the communication team of this institution, as a press attaché. For nearly four years, she actively participated in the definition and management of the communication policy of the President of the Republic of Senegal. In 2004, she decided to complete her training by going to do a master's in communication (communication for development option) at UQAM, the University of Quebec in Montreal. Returning to Senegal at the end of 2006, she returned to the Presidency of the Republic, but this time to work on issues relating to the care of vulnerable children. In 2007, she was appointed Special Advisor to the President of the Republic on issues relating to children and Coordinator of the Child Protection Support Unit (CAPE), created in March 2008 within the Presidency of the Republic. , in order to strengthen the institutional child protection system in Senegal. During her thirteen years of experience, Ms. Diouf has invested a lot in Senegal and Africa in the fight against the vulnerability of children, the institutional strengthening of child protection structures, the care of street children as well as in the advocacy and promotion of children's rights.
